Software Engineer — AlturaFlow

Jun 2025 – Jul 2026

Solved real-time data, scale, and reliability challenges for a fintech platform serving active retail traders.

  • Built real-time market data interfaces in React and TypeScript, including scanner dashboards, chart overlays, and portfolio tracking views used directly by traders.
  • Designed and built backend data pipelines consolidating 4–5 financial data sources (Nasdaq, Yahoo Finance, others) into one live feed, plus Discord bots (Ruby, Python) delivering continuous market and volatility alerts to ~100 active users.
  • Optimized PostgreSQL scanner queries across 12,000–13,000 tracked tickers by batching scans into smaller segments instead of single large chunks. Query times went from several seconds down to near-instant.
  • Worked full-stack on a Next.js/TypeScript codebase end to end, from API routes through to UI components.

  • Built cross-platform mobile apps in Flutter, including authentication flows, data-driven interfaces, in-app purchase integrations, and Apple/Google OAuth via Supabase.
